Tasting Notes
Vinous – 93-95
The 2022 Montrachet Grand Cru, which comes from the Chassagne side, also showed some of the barrel on the nose like the Chevalier, but overall, it seems more primal and less terroir-driven. The palate is medium-bodied with a resinous entry, surfeit with extract, though I am seeking a little more finesse and mineralite on the finish. A little broad-shouldered at the moment.
Anticipated maturity: 2028-2053
