"The 2016 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatieres has a strict and linear bouquet with touches of oyster shell infusing the citrus fruit. The palate is well balanced but perhaps less complex than other Folatieres that I encountered, with the finish needing a bit more spine and tension. Let’s see if this improves by the time of bottling. I will defer any judgment for now."
