Tasted out of barrel at the Domaine. Harvested and vinified identically to the Griottes, this has a different nose, a little richer and more opulent with baked red cherries, orange blossom, blueberry and a touch of oxtail…very complex! The palate is full-bodied with succulent tannins, the fruit a little more expressive than the terroir with a very pure, tense a oevitamina finish that reminds me of a Perrot-Minot. Excellent. Tasted November 2010.
